Taylor Siemers
Loan Officer
Mr. Siemers was born and raised in Evanston, Wyoming, where he was a two-sport high school varsity athlete and won back-to-back basketball state championships as team captain. After graduating from Utah State University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mr. Siemers accepted a position at Wells Fargo as a Commercial Credit Analyst in their Denver office. There, he completed comprehensive corporate training programs and analyzed financials for predominantly publicly traded companies, sustaining an overall accuracy of >98% on regular QA spread checks, vastly exceeding departmental averages.
After three years at Wells Fargo, Mr. Siemers sought a return to Evanston and joined State Bank as a Credit Analyst in March 2022. In this role, Mr. Siemers bolstered the financial acumen developed at Wells Fargo with credit underwriting and loan structuring expertise. While at State Bank, Taylor attended a Commercial Lending program hosted by Bankers Bank of the West in Denver to continue his commercial lending education in parallel to his growing industry experience. Recognized by senior management for his potential and fast learning, Mr. Siemers was promoted to the position of Loan Officer in October 2022.
Since moving back to Evanston, Mr. Siemers has re-engaged with the community through the relationships he developed during high school as well as volunteering for public events. The benefactors of his time volunteering have been the Urban Renewal Agency, Jumpstart Evanston, Impact 307, and other financial literacy programs offered by the City of Evanston. In his current role, Mr. Siemers pairs his growing financial skillset with these core community relationships to provide a customer-centric loan experience that adds value to both local stakeholders and State Bank. Mr. Siemers has a passion for learning and succeeding at new challenges, reflected by his plans to attend a Graduate School of Banking in tandem with adopting growing responsibilities at State Bank. State Bank views Taylor as a valuable asset and representative of the local spirit and attitude that drives the Bank’s success as a true Community Bank in Southwest Wyoming.
